Description

23 Members of the 1933 World Series champion New York Yankees have signed this Official American League baseball. Hall of Famer Babe Ruth signed his name on the sweet spot. The south panel has the signatures of Hall of Famers Lou Gehrig, Lefty Gomez and Bill Dickey, along with the signatures of Herb Pennock, Dixie Walker and an unidentified name. The west panel has the signatures of Hall of Famer Earle Combs, along with Wilcy Moore, Joe McCarthy (clubhouse), Eddie Farrell, Lyn Lary and Cy Perkins. The east panel has the signatures of Hall of Famer Tony Lazzeri and Joe Sewell, along with George Uhle and two unidentified signatures. The final panel (north) has the signatures of Arthur Fletcher (clubhouse), Johnny Allen, Danny MacFayden and Ben Chapman. The signatures are light and most of them are still readable. The ball displays toning and other abrasion marks. This comes with a Letter of Authenticity from JSA (Z51902) for the signatures.
